Information for Charities

Those at risk of being repossessed or evicted often feel vulnerable and alone. Before they come to us, they often don’t know where to turn for help and advice.

It is for this reason that we feel best practice is to have a range of resources in order to recommend to people most at risk of having their homes repossessed.

There are many benefits to working with charities and other organisations. Because each individual’s circumstances are different, no one organisation can possibly provide the solution for everyone.

We have recognised through our relationships with solicitors, charities and other not for profit organisations that sometimes, an individual’s needs are best served by referring them to the most appropriate organisation.

By working collectively, it is the individual who stands to benefit most, with access to a range of organisations offering different skills, experience and capacity.

We usually help each other in two ways:-

1. By promoting your charity or organisation both on this site and/or our print media as a valuable resource for those at risk of being repossessed. We find this works best as a two-way exchange where you would also promote the work of Lifeline: The Repossession Helpline.

2. By referring individuals most in need of hands-on solutions to a real and pressing problem. Likewise, where appropriate we would also refer those most in need of advice and support to you.

To discuss this, call us at Lifeline: The Repossession helpline on 0800 061 2273 or email info@therepossessionhelpline.com
