Maintaining our integrity as a business is of utmost importance and we therefore choose to uphold the following ideals in all our interactions whether they are at our premises, at your home or on the telephone.
Fair Dealing
Every situation and/or business transactions involving Lifeline is scrutinised to ensure that it complies with our goals of honesty, integrity and fairness. Any practice or activity at odds with these standards is not tolerated even for the sake of expediency or achieving a higher purpose.
Respect for Others
Lifeline personnel are committed to treating all parties with whom we interact with respect, dignity and compassion. Discrimination and harassment based on race, colour, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, pregnancy, disability, illness, marital status, age, sexual orientation, ancestry or citizenship status will not be tolerated. Each individual is expected to exercise sound judgement and serve the best interest of the homeowner at all times.
Compliance With The Law
All business entered into between Lifeline and any other person must comply with the laws of the United Kingdom as well as our Ethical Standards. Responsibility for becoming familiar with these regulations rests with all parties. It is not acceptable to ignore or disobey policies and legislation simply because they are not fully understood or contradict personal opinions.
Conflict of Interest
Lifeline personnel and other interested parties are expected to disclose any actual or potential conflicts of interest whether they are financial, professional or temporal. Under no circumstances are financial incentives or gifts in kind permitted from third parties.
Confidentiality
As a custodian of many types of sensitive information, Lifeline expects its personnel to be familiar with applicable laws and Lifeline policies pertaining to its access, use, protection and disclosure. The company and all its personnel operate within the terms of the Data Protection Act 1998.
